A Bridge To Cross

As we walk along this life path as spiritual beings, we come up against those who are fumbling in the dark. Some of those people are making decisions that can effect our quality of life. Still they are fumbling in the dark. Choosing that bridge to cross in order to stay in the light, we remember that we are here to navigate beyond our own limitations, and by overcoming those issues we ascend. It really doesn’t matter how effected we are by others, because the work that we are doing is unaffected by outside environmental influences.
The goal is to get the work done, by tackling one core issue at a time. To turn off the noise (the TV; the negative vibes), and quiet the drama.

It’s important during these times of lunar or solar occurrences and other earthly events such as earthquakes or hurricanes, if you feel moved by those influences to allow yourself to process through the feelings, then create time and space for that expression. For when we actively follow our healing by dealing with things as they come about, we find ourselves rock-steady as others are freaking out. Giving ourselves a head start or something in our toolbox for coping with today’s environments. This early start gives us better strength and durability for helping others. Go in peace.

My blessings to you…

Eyes Wide Open

In finding a partner who can spiritually, intellectually and emotionally as well as challenge, nurture, and enrich us, means looking at people and relationships with eyes wide open. If the attraction is hot, then we know the sex is going to be great. However, for the other 21 hours in the day, it helps to choose someone who also brings a similar depth, quality and attention to detail into the relationship, as you do with your own life.

Eyes wide open simply means to have an awareness of who you are, who you want to become, who you want beside you, and what’s happening in your immediate environment. The quality we have comes from how much attention we give to this. If we want to raise that bar it requires us to show up (be active in planning and decisions), pay attention (listen carefully to how the words/actions are spoken) and be present (bring the awareness of one’s spirit into the room).  When we have the awareness of our own spirit, we are fully conscious in the present moment. This awareness comes with the growth of our inner work; cutting cords from our dragons, and shifting fear into love.
Eyes wide open gathers information that is useful in moving peacefully for one’s own direction, as a leadership for the well-being of our happiness.
When sharing a life with someone, eyes wide open is in having courage to look into those dark hidden corners, and ask those questions that maybe difficult to talk about when searching for the deeper answers. Eyes wide open can also mean that for everyone either sleeping under your roof or in your bed, their business has become your business. Making sure that you’re informed, and not taken by surprise by secrets, or unforeseen environmental influences. It can also mean that you choose to think for yourself, and not always take on the fears and insecurities of others.

With eyes wide open the quality of attention that a person gives to their own spiritual, intellectual and emotional life, they will also bring to the relationship.
(When I interview someone for a job I’m doing, I will first look at the quality of how they keep their car. Is it clean inside, is it well maintained? The quality of their vehicle is in direct relationship to their own inner life. How much attention they give their vehicle is the depth of attention I’ll see on the job, generally speaking.)
So in choosing a partner, it helps to see with eyes wide open beyond the sex, and into their own interpersonal relationships with their environments. Because in a love relationship, “you become their environment”.

My blessings to you…

Environmental Influence

Dec. 2013 012For every time it rains, snows or we see a rainbow is Spirit’s way of bringing environmental influences into our experiences, to give us opportunity to awaken. The perception within each of us is very individually unique, and moment by moment we have at our finger tips the opportunity for growth. We can choose to go whistling through our day without taking notice of spiritual intervention, or we can slow down and feel the excitement and rush of being influenced by it.
A shooting star, first by seeing it brings up feelings and associations in one’s mind that will shift our awareness, and then there is the physical matter that falls to earth and is added to the mixing pot of influence we like to call Gaia; Earth spirit. This continuously renewed energy feeding our vitality.
When we are out walking and come across a pond of still water, a stream that flows without resistance, or a large stone in a stoneless environment that can bring meaning and growth by reflection into our awareness. If we slow down and pay attention to nature there can be great meaning and acknowledgement in a simple encounter. Crossing paths with an animal, being snowed in, being acknowledged by someone beautiful, witnessing a forest fire and the unpredictability of fast change, standing at the edge of a volcano and reflecting upon one’s personality and seeing all forms of expression.
Rain by itself has its own influence. When we mix sun and rain, and the two elements merge in that moment it becomes very unique, just like lightning in a snowstorm. What brings it all together is your witness, what ever that is for you in that moment. Stories, legends and faerie tales are told in such a way for us to remember “our witness” of those events. What makes those experiences magical is your presence; your witness, and your perceptions will be very unique from the next person creating purpose with direction.
Everything about our environment is divinely designed in opportunity for reflection and growth. This form of spiritual gardening can be seen in relationship to an influence with the environment, and the beautiful partnership with your own mystery.

Painting with Light

How can we heighten the vibration of a home or space, to bring in that yummy secure feeling? How can we create a castle from a shed in the vibrational world, from a low vibrational frequency to the highest possible, and what are the benefits of it all? I’ve worked in areas that have had a lot of drama, trauma and emotional unrest, and in just 3 days the energy and the feeling about the place had changed dramatically. Then the whole neighborhood started showing signs of shifting. Fortunately there are many little things we can do to create great changes, from the simple to the complex, the choice is always ours.

When we buy a home or rent a place, what is the intention upon entering the space; what does this home represent for you at this time? Before settling in I like to smudge a place with a stick of white sage [a little goes a long ways], to release emotional grief from people who have lived there in the past, and to give myself a fresh new start. As I walk from room to room with the focus of love leaving no door unopened, removing energy and experiences of old to make space for new beginnings [read my page on House Clearing]. As you enter the home introduce yourself one room at a time, as you look in every corner, bring love and gratitude in as you set up, settle in and take ownership. Declare the space yours out loud, “this kitchen is mine, as it will feed and nurture me with joy”. The space of each room has something to offer, even when each person will create a different nest.

A clean space creates a harmonious space, and the energy of Feng Shui moves freely in an uncluttered space. There are many simple things one can do in the area of Feng Shui, and still having it look like your place. A small jade plant opposite the front door will bring abundance into the home. A mirror at the end of a hallway will keep abundance from piling up and going stale, or just leaving the doors open a lot, so the energy can flow through, around and back out. Energy like a river wants to move, however we don’t want things like money to go out the window.

Color is another wonderful way to bring in energy and high vibrations into a home. Color that has light and life reflecting in it brings in joy, like a fresh bouquet of flowers, and will give that essence to your experience. An accent wall is to paint color on just one wall, like a deep red behind the bed… the color of passion. To bring that energy/expression and essence into that room. To paint the whole room that color may be a bit over powering, and may not embrace the calmer emotions of say… Intimacy.
The outside color of a home will also project an experience of what that place represents for you. Dark colors are for protection, while lighter, brighter colors like yellow are for nurturing. Pastels absorbs energy and can be great in a space like in an airport, where the energy is in excess. Or in a large bright powerful room, the colors of the furniture can be pastels to absorb some of that excess energy. Otherwise it can be difficult to relax in such a space. If your a person who needs a lot of energy, and who hangs out with high-energy people hoping some of that will rub off on you. If you surround yourself with bright colors, you’ll get that same experience.

Sound is another that creates environment. Some have created music that’s designed to change the vibrational essence of a space, like the works of Marcey Ham, or Hemi-Sync to name some of many. Crystal bowls and other bells can be fun, and of course wind chimes. Nature sounds, or music without voice… Harmonious sounds.

Painting with light comes through the intentions of the designer, which creates stronger environmental influences. Plants bring in life, crystals will project a fresh feeling… Stones can be grounding, moving air, a heat source, a water fountain… Fresh flowers, bright warm colors… Personal development, meditation, clean mind… There’s high vibrational food and low vibrational food, preparing food with love, natural fabrics… Invite spiritual guides and guardians into the space, angels, saints, faeries…  Burn incense, smudge white sage, natural smells… Continuous quiet vibrational music… Feng Shui, or sacred geometry… Upgrade your home… How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?
There’s so much one can do to change the essence of a space. If you have a ghost in the house, raising the vibration of the space will help to move them out, and send them where their meant to go. Continue on Toolbox.
Ghosts are drawn to low vibrational places like bars, pubs and saloons, and at this point in time there are very few bars that are bright and sunny. By changing the vibrations around us, we bring in light and love, and in-so-doing change the circumstances of our relationships and the overall quality of our lives.

To me, everything is sacred, and everything has Presents… As in an empty cup waiting to be filled. As we put our time and energy into a place, it begins to vibrate the essence of the quality given, and in-turn gives back.
If the space is treated as a crash-pad, than that’s all it’ll ever be. If the space is your sanctuary to retreat to, than it will reflect that sweet essence. A house that has been loved and cared for shows it in all it’s forms. A home in which one is active with a spiritual practice, is a space that others find safe.
As spiritual as I can be, I tend to relate to my living space as a sanctuary. Two or three Energy wheels set up in thoughtful places around the space. These wheels have everything to do with frequency, vibration and influence. Creating and activating a wheel changes the vibrational frequency of that location, bringing forth an influence that wasn’t there before. When the vibration of a location has been heightened, the individuals who live in that location will shift to match that vibration. These wheels will also soften the life changes coming at them.

I’ve had fun doing everything on this page and a little more in depth.
Painting with light brings in and creates a high vibration in a home with a strong sense of safety, nurturing and abundance. There is a natural flow and alignment to Source Energy and when a home reflects this quality it becomes a sanctuary and a place of peace. There’s a lot one can do when we have a tool box filled with ideas like these.

Simply put: this post describes simple ways to get the most from your personal environment, that will also nurture your spiritual path, brighten your awareness, create space and freedom to breath deep, so the heart can dream.

May blessings be the gift, that pave this creative path of your design.

023Above the water falls, I found a place where the stream was lazy and quiet. Moss covered the stones along the edge of the water, and Diamond Willows guard the space. I sit still upon a large flat stone by the stream, in my mind’s eye I entered the field of Source energy [the field of God]. A branch twitches without a breeze, and I feel the presents of joy. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a tiny being coming into view from the brush. My quiet gaze into the water remains, as I open my heart deep and connect to the joy of this union. I touch upon the bliss of this blessing’s rich encounter, and remained present until the arrival of the evening colors.

There are experiences to be found when we step away from the mechanized world of hustle and bustle. Where the heart runs deep in the still waters of a quiet mind. There is magic in this world to be found, if one has the courage to be still where it is quiet.

The Adventure of Spring

The light has changed once again; the seasons are shifting. The snow line retreats into the mountains. Collecting stones and planning for new shrubs and flowers, as the adventures of spring draws near. Nature Spirits gather around me as I pace out the back yard. Mapping out 4 more raised flower beds, each with a different stone boarders. One with large stones from the river, color and texture. Another with blocks, another with flat colorful sandstone set on edge, and yet another with petrified sandstone pan-caked. The front fence will be taken down, before it falls down, and replaced with flowering bushes as a boarder. Tomorrow I assemble another 12′ Energy wheel in the back yard, this one will be Jasper for protection and nurturing. Looking forward to playing in earth once again, and watching things grow.
