Environmental Influence

Dec. 2013 012For every time it rains, snows or we see a rainbow is Spirit’s way of bringing environmental influences into our experiences, to give us opportunity to awaken. The perception within each of us is very individually unique, and moment by moment we have at our finger tips the opportunity for growth. We can choose to go whistling through our day without taking notice of spiritual intervention, or we can slow down and feel the excitement and rush of being influenced by it.
A shooting star, first by seeing it brings up feelings and associations in one’s mind that will shift our awareness, and then there is the physical matter that falls to earth and is added to the mixing pot of influence we like to call Gaia; Earth spirit. This continuously renewed energy feeding our vitality.
When we are out walking and come across a pond of still water, a stream that flows without resistance, or a large stone in a stoneless environment that can bring meaning and growth by reflection into our awareness. If we slow down and pay attention to nature there can be great meaning and acknowledgement in a simple encounter. Crossing paths with an animal, being snowed in, being acknowledged by someone beautiful, witnessing a forest fire and the unpredictability of fast change, standing at the edge of a volcano and reflecting upon one’s personality and seeing all forms of expression.
Rain by itself has its own influence. When we mix sun and rain, and the two elements merge in that moment it becomes very unique, just like lightning in a snowstorm. What brings it all together is your witness, what ever that is for you in that moment. Stories, legends and faerie tales are told in such a way for us to remember “our witness” of those events. What makes those experiences magical is your presence; your witness, and your perceptions will be very unique from the next person creating purpose with direction.
Everything about our environment is divinely designed in opportunity for reflection and growth. This form of spiritual gardening can be seen in relationship to an influence with the environment, and the beautiful partnership with your own mystery.

Closing a Sacred Site

Energy wheels023I had 4 Energy wheels set up in the middle of a large piece of property for 20 years, and it wasn’t until I took them apart and removed them did I realize how much they had changed the space. Activated Energy wheels will change the vibration of a space as it comes into alignment with love and harmony. When I took the wheels apart, as the energy collapsed it was nothing like I had ever experienced before. It was huge and nearly pushed me over. The energy came down from above like sheer winds from a storm, very powerful and very intense. The space returned to the rawness of nature, the contrast went from the influences of harmony to the taking essence of nature. Huge differences, animals behaving like wild animals instead of yielding, more threatening forest fires, and the change came flooding back in as the shields came crumbling down. This experience was very profound because it was so much in my face, as to the contrast between before and after. These wheels didn’t belong to a client, they were mine because I started off by living on location for other reasons, and these folks weren’t in the position to purchase these wheels.
Before disassembling each Energy wheel, I spent time giving thanks for all this wheel had taught and provided. When I was finished the location looked as untouched as when I had arrived.
It was an amazing experience to have that opportunity as I did, and I learned volumes in the process.

Life’s Seasonal Path

042Eastern spring at the beginnings of all things, the infant in us sees everything anew, as in the space of mornings fresh experience.
In southern hot mid-days of summer, the power of the dance brings forth the ambition of youth. Where we tend to have the sight of knowing all things, even though we have far to venture.
Cool western evenings of autumn. Calming patience ushers in an elders accumulation of experience, as the master will use few words to describe what is needed to understand.
Great northern winters midnight stillness, rests and restores the spirit, presence of purpose… the isness of the soul.

Can Spiritual Energy be Connected to an Item ?

Dec. 2013 013
No, an item such as a cross, statue, wand, ring, or religious item is sacred because through the eye of the imagination we believe it to be so. However, that belief and ritual is created to show us that that gift of the item has been inside us all along. An item or thing is created as part of ritual to bring us into spiritual alignment with God and therefore in alignment with creation, as we are creators ourselves.

In the situation of a haunting, negative energy can be attached to an item or thing because of our sticky emotional attachments [attachments are conditions, and a form of frequency], making the item a low vibrational piece. And an easy fix, simply by smudging the item with white sage [a little goes a long ways], will release those emotional attachments or frequencies of the past, and bring the vibrations into the higher fields of the present moment. An earth-bound spirit can attach itself to an item because of it’s low vibrational frequency, yet when we change the vibration or frequency of the item, the spirit is released from that attachment.
Earth-bound spirits are drawn to bars, pubs for the same reason. Oftentimes earth-bound spirits will take the opportunity to have a physical experience through us when we’ve been drinking or doing heavy drugs, because we are at our weakest point and expressing a very low vibration. Some people who drink a lot their eyes change color, and they become someone different… this is why.

Painting with Light

How can we heighten the vibration of a home or space, to bring in that yummy secure feeling? How can we create a castle from a shed in the vibrational world, from a low vibrational frequency to the highest possible, and what are the benefits of it all? I’ve worked in areas that have had a lot of drama, trauma and emotional unrest, and in just 3 days the energy and the feeling about the place had changed dramatically. Then the whole neighborhood started showing signs of shifting. Fortunately there are many little things we can do to create great changes, from the simple to the complex, the choice is always ours.

When we buy a home or rent a place, what is the intention upon entering the space; what does this home represent for you at this time? Before settling in I like to smudge a place with a stick of white sage [a little goes a long ways], to release emotional grief from people who have lived there in the past, and to give myself a fresh new start. As I walk from room to room with the focus of love leaving no door unopened, removing energy and experiences of old to make space for new beginnings [read my page on House Clearing]. As you enter the home introduce yourself one room at a time, as you look in every corner, bring love and gratitude in as you set up, settle in and take ownership. Declare the space yours out loud, “this kitchen is mine, as it will feed and nurture me with joy”. The space of each room has something to offer, even when each person will create a different nest.

A clean space creates a harmonious space, and the energy of Feng Shui moves freely in an uncluttered space. There are many simple things one can do in the area of Feng Shui, and still having it look like your place. A small jade plant opposite the front door will bring abundance into the home. A mirror at the end of a hallway will keep abundance from piling up and going stale, or just leaving the doors open a lot, so the energy can flow through, around and back out. Energy like a river wants to move, however we don’t want things like money to go out the window.

Color is another wonderful way to bring in energy and high vibrations into a home. Color that has light and life reflecting in it brings in joy, like a fresh bouquet of flowers, and will give that essence to your experience. An accent wall is to paint color on just one wall, like a deep red behind the bed… the color of passion. To bring that energy/expression and essence into that room. To paint the whole room that color may be a bit over powering, and may not embrace the calmer emotions of say… Intimacy.
The outside color of a home will also project an experience of what that place represents for you. Dark colors are for protection, while lighter, brighter colors like yellow are for nurturing. Pastels absorbs energy and can be great in a space like in an airport, where the energy is in excess. Or in a large bright powerful room, the colors of the furniture can be pastels to absorb some of that excess energy. Otherwise it can be difficult to relax in such a space. If your a person who needs a lot of energy, and who hangs out with high-energy people hoping some of that will rub off on you. If you surround yourself with bright colors, you’ll get that same experience.

Sound is another that creates environment. Some have created music that’s designed to change the vibrational essence of a space, like the works of Marcey Ham, or Hemi-Sync to name some of many. Crystal bowls and other bells can be fun, and of course wind chimes. Nature sounds, or music without voice… Harmonious sounds.

Painting with light comes through the intentions of the designer, which creates stronger environmental influences. Plants bring in life, crystals will project a fresh feeling… Stones can be grounding, moving air, a heat source, a water fountain… Fresh flowers, bright warm colors… Personal development, meditation, clean mind… There’s high vibrational food and low vibrational food, preparing food with love, natural fabrics… Invite spiritual guides and guardians into the space, angels, saints, faeries…  Burn incense, smudge white sage, natural smells… Continuous quiet vibrational music… Feng Shui, or sacred geometry… Upgrade your home… How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?
There’s so much one can do to change the essence of a space. If you have a ghost in the house, raising the vibration of the space will help to move them out, and send them where their meant to go. Continue on Toolbox.
Ghosts are drawn to low vibrational places like bars, pubs and saloons, and at this point in time there are very few bars that are bright and sunny. By changing the vibrations around us, we bring in light and love, and in-so-doing change the circumstances of our relationships and the overall quality of our lives.

To me, everything is sacred, and everything has Presents… As in an empty cup waiting to be filled. As we put our time and energy into a place, it begins to vibrate the essence of the quality given, and in-turn gives back.
If the space is treated as a crash-pad, than that’s all it’ll ever be. If the space is your sanctuary to retreat to, than it will reflect that sweet essence. A house that has been loved and cared for shows it in all it’s forms. A home in which one is active with a spiritual practice, is a space that others find safe.
As spiritual as I can be, I tend to relate to my living space as a sanctuary. Two or three Energy wheels set up in thoughtful places around the space. These wheels have everything to do with frequency, vibration and influence. Creating and activating a wheel changes the vibrational frequency of that location, bringing forth an influence that wasn’t there before. When the vibration of a location has been heightened, the individuals who live in that location will shift to match that vibration. These wheels will also soften the life changes coming at them.

I’ve had fun doing everything on this page and a little more in depth.
Painting with light brings in and creates a high vibration in a home with a strong sense of safety, nurturing and abundance. There is a natural flow and alignment to Source Energy and when a home reflects this quality it becomes a sanctuary and a place of peace. There’s a lot one can do when we have a tool box filled with ideas like these.

Simply put: this post describes simple ways to get the most from your personal environment, that will also nurture your spiritual path, brighten your awareness, create space and freedom to breath deep, so the heart can dream.

May blessings be the gift, that pave this creative path of your design.

023Above the water falls, I found a place where the stream was lazy and quiet. Moss covered the stones along the edge of the water, and Diamond Willows guard the space. I sit still upon a large flat stone by the stream, in my mind’s eye I entered the field of Source energy [the field of God]. A branch twitches without a breeze, and I feel the presents of joy. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a tiny being coming into view from the brush. My quiet gaze into the water remains, as I open my heart deep and connect to the joy of this union. I touch upon the bliss of this blessing’s rich encounter, and remained present until the arrival of the evening colors.

There are experiences to be found when we step away from the mechanized world of hustle and bustle. Where the heart runs deep in the still waters of a quiet mind. There is magic in this world to be found, if one has the courage to be still where it is quiet.

Creating a Sacred Site

Ren Fair 2012 021I just got back from assembling a petrified wood Energy wheel for a client, just east of Flathead Lake and just south of Swan Lake, Montana USA. A friend and I hauled up enough flat sandstone to create one 12 foot Energy wheel, and we got there in time for early mud season. Patches of snow up to 2 feet in places scattered the landscape, moss hung in the tall lodge-pole pines, as it also covered the ground in many places. And the ground was frozen just 3 inches down. Mud season brings out a deep rich smell of earth, and a strong memory to land I haven’t had since being in New England.

After settling into the cabin, we headed out to walk the land in search of a location for this wheel, and the moment I stepped off the road and into the woods White Eagle was there to greet me. [White Eagle is a spiritual guardian I’ve been channeling since I started building wheels, he also comes through in my writings.] Every time I assemble and activate a wheel, it’s a very exciting and a very powerful experience.
Within a hundred yards I walked right to the location, even though we walked the entire space. The client didn’t want me to disrupt the land while assembling this wheel, even though this location was located on a hillside. So another first was created, a wheel set into the hillside like stepping-stones.
Most wheels that I activate come on like a light switch, and often very powerful like a tsunami. Where the energy wave of the influence fills the space. This wheel however, started up very slowly, and I know the client was hoping for a big bang experience. Yet, in the end they were all satisfied. This was a very powerful wheel to assemble and activate.

Channeling while doing and channeling while writing can sometimes be a very different experience. Creating a sacred site while channeling happens fast, and I often don’t remember what was said to others while in the moment of doing. There is a part of me that stands aside and has the “Oh Wow” experience, the observer part of me. I feel honored and blessed in creating these sacred sites for people.
Thank you.

The Adventure of Spring

The light has changed once again; the seasons are shifting. The snow line retreats into the mountains. Collecting stones and planning for new shrubs and flowers, as the adventures of spring draws near. Nature Spirits gather around me as I pace out the back yard. Mapping out 4 more raised flower beds, each with a different stone boarders. One with large stones from the river, color and texture. Another with blocks, another with flat colorful sandstone set on edge, and yet another with petrified sandstone pan-caked. The front fence will be taken down, before it falls down, and replaced with flowering bushes as a boarder. Tomorrow I assemble another 12′ Energy wheel in the back yard, this one will be Jasper for protection and nurturing. Looking forward to playing in earth once again, and watching things grow.

Home sweet home

Growing up, I spent my first 14 years at a Quaker boarding high school [The Meeting School], created around a farm in New England, and my favorite place to hang out was in the barn. At that time New England was full of farms with barns, and as a young boy I had a fascination with barns. With its big open spaces and multi-fuctions. As I sit here contemplating building my own home, once again barns come to mind. Course it would look like a house, yet built stout like a barn; post and beam construction. The idea of creating split level floors, many bright windows, and one space opening onto another… tickles my senses. In having lived in some wind prone areas, I find my mind migrating to a solid structure. Built against a hillside, with a living roof, solar energy, solar hot water, wood stove… you know, basically off the grid. There’s no space like free space. So with that in mind, I pick up my hammer…
